About Team H.I.T.

Team H.I.T. is an organization of male and female bodybuilders who have found, and continue to find, success by adhering to the most basic tenents of High Intensity Training...BRIEF, INTENSE, and INFREQUENT.

We are not here to belittle or demean anyone's chosen method of training.  We are here to support and promote ours.

In the world of bodybuilding H.I.T. methodology is often met with skepticism, misbelief and sometimes hostility (just go on any bb'ing discussion board and mention H.I.T. and see what happens).  People find it difficult to believe that muscle can be forged with only  2-3 workouts each week most of which lasting only 30 minutes on average.  Add to the equation that only one or two sets are being performed for each exercise and most will say you can't build an appreicable amount of muscle that way.

...We're proof that you can.

Not only that, you can build a physique worthy of being a bodybuilding champion.

The most difficult thing for any man or woman to do is to keep themself from doing that which they are most passionate about. It is for this reason should our "dedication" to bodybuilding is to be called into question by others because we are not seen in the gym each and every day, we contend that we are those who are most truly dedicated.  We do not allow our emotional connection to the iron and steel get the better part of our intellect.   We sacrafice what we want to do for what we need to do so that continual progress can be made.  Our objective is clear...build muscle at any cost.  Sometimes that "cost" is spending time out of the gym when every thing inside of us wants to be in there, wants to be struggling under the weight of the bar, squeezing out every ounce of juice left in the muscle.  This is our discipline, this is our dedication, this is
High Intensity Training!

For decades the dominating belief throughout bodybuilding has been that in order to build a championship caliber physique one must spend an hour or more in the gym performing a high volume of workload and do so 5-7 days per week.

Despite the vast amount of scientific research and empirical evidence many bodybuiders today still believe that the marathon workouts of yesteryear are the only road to success.  Many view this manner training as a 'rite of passage' and as a part of their identity as a bodybuilder.  It shows dedication beyond the common lifter and makes them "Bodybuidler".

...We feel differently.
